Courses/Workshops
The Delos Partnership has developed a range of courses, which through the medium of either public courses or tailored in-house workshops allow those attending to benefit through our knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the Delos Model.
Public courses enable your people to share experiences with other companies. They also allow a few people to attend whenever you have a requirement for one or two people to take part in the course. It allows the opportunity for your people to gain a generic understanding of the concepts being explained.
Tailored in-house workshops allow a group of your people fully to understand the concepts and then take immediate action to implement the ideas. For instance with one company we ran a workshop on the concepts of Supply Chain Management to a group of six people. The following day they updated their planning system in line with the principles which we have shared with them the previous day. Since then the company has made raw material savings of £2m and identified a further £2.5m reduction. In another company we worked with the Sales and Marketing team on how best to negotiate with their largest customer. The following day they entered into their negotiations with this customer much better prepared and achieved all their objectives. In another workshop we helped a company develop a complete Supplier Management process and as a result they have now rolled out that process.
