Chris Edson
Chris has a strong track record in delivering successful ERP projects in the Process and Manufacturing Industries. He provides clients with pragmatic advice and guidance on the Integration of ERP systems and successful Project Management of large and complex ERP projects.
He has provided consulting and project management services to ERP customers since 1998 and has worked with global companies such as AstraZeneca, ICI, Boots PLC, Hoechst Marrion Roussel and Akzo Nobel as well as consulting companies such as ATOS KPMG, Xansa PLC, Druid PLC and the FI Group.
Chris also spent 17 years in industry where he held roles including Director of a British construction company, Head of Engineering and Manager of an ERP Implementation. He holds a Master of Science degree and majored on Computer Integrated Manufacturing where he designed a flexible integrated design and manufacturing solution in the construction industry which was the first of its kind. He is an accredited SAP consultant, CITB qualified internal auditor and holds a city and guilds silver medal for achievement.
Chris has also implemented Just in Time manufacturing systems reducing manufacturing throughput time from 6 months to 6 weeks and cutting stock levels. He also delivered a major project integrating 3D Computer Aided Design and ERP systems to provide a totally integrated business solution.
